The wine filter kit comes with:
- One course (5 micron) and one fine (1 micron) filter cartridge.
- A sturdy, hand-machined base made of solid PVC.
- 1 gaskets and 1 filter seals.
- A full color user manual.
- The filter body.
Features of the kit include:
- The wine filter accepts all KLR filter cartridges, to include 1, 5, 10, 20 and 50 micron filtration sizes.
- Filter cartridges are very economical, providing less cost and less waste of product.
- The kit can be used to filter wine, beer, mead, cider, and other home brews.
- Barbed attachments (in / out) fit standard 3/8” tubing (tubing not included).

KLR Filter Cartridges
The replacement filter cartridge is used in the KLR Home Brew Filer System. They are available in 1, 5, 10, 20, or 50 micron sizes. Also available, 2-batch wine combo containing two 1 micron and two 5 micron filter cartridges and 2-batch beer combo containing two 20 micron filter cartridges and two 50 micron filter cartridges. Each package includes four (4) filter cartridges. The 1 and 5 micron filters are typically used for filtering wine. The 10, 20, and 50 micron filters are typically used for filtering beer.
All filter cartridges are designed for one-time use only. The wine filters have been tested to 20 gallons. The beer filters vary in quantities that can be filtered due to the wide variance in floating particles found in beer batches, but testing has been successful for up to 10 gallons with a moderate presence of suspended particles.

KLR Filter Kit Replacement Package
The replacement parts kit provides a filter body, two body gaskets and two filter seals. Some customers have found it convenient to have two have two filter bodies – one for wine and one for beer.
